Kelis at Levi’s Curve Attack Tour
The first issue of the new weekly event guide was quite easy to put together as we had so much going on last week with all the art fairs. This week is a whole other story, but still there is something for every night. And everythings seems to culminate in the weekend again with the hotly anticipated Levi’s Curve Attack Tour hitting the city with the concert of Kelis at Maria. Get your tickets here or at the venue for 20 EUR. Can’t wait!! More events this week after the jump.
Tuesday
Artist Trevor Lloyd is showing his work at Appartement at Prenzlauer Allee 242. Haven’t been there in a while, but it’s always quite lovely! (You need to be on the FB guestlist to get in.)
2 for 1 at Barbie Deinhoff’s, the coolest hang out for girls and boys of the same sex orientation. Sexy Oh!Mehr! at the decks will make you moan “Oh! Mehr!”.
Wednesday
Finally you can get your knitting kits out again: Strickenbar at System Bar at Torstr. 68 in Mitte. It’s getting cold outside, you might need some mittens!
Thursday
Artist Anna Haenko presents her art project Visual Movement at Direktorenhaus starting at 19h.
Friday
Big group exhibition Anthology of Optimism at MMX project space.
German actor Daniel Brühl reads 1Q84 by Japanese cult author Haruki Murakami at the Studio of Admiralspalast. Infos here. Cancelled!
Fête Fatale goes into it’s 7th edition. Burlesque fetish party with many naughty live shows at Goya!
Saturday
Very interesting participatory art project: Halbtisch at Reisschale in Neukölln. You can take part either as a guest or as a chef. It’s on Saturday and Sunday from 17-19h. The exhibition will run until October 23rd. More infos on the flyer below, click on it to enlarge and read the text!
The highlight of the week: Kelis at the Levi’s Curve Attack Tour. Sadly we are far behind in the City Battle to get an exclusive DJ set by Mark Ronson. But at least we’ll have local DJ support at the after party and Natalie Kills as the opening act.
Sunday
Your second chance to take part at Halbtisch. Infos on the flyer below.
