The Slim Week

Drei

Okay, so shortly before Christmas there is not much going on in town as people seem busy preparing gifts, or fly back home to their family, or simply staying in because of the snow. But we wouldn’t be iHeartBerlin if we didn’t at least find one recommendable event per day. See our slim but swell selection after the jump.

UPDATE: Mobile Kino was moved to next year due to HBCs early Xmas break.

Monday

FAGBAR with Caroleen at Monster Ronson’s. It’s also open booth night as every Monday. So here’s your last chance for some Karaoke fun… before Christmas. Warschauer Str. 34, 22h.

Tuesday

Feinkost Berlin is presenting a fairy tale evening at ZMF, Brunnenstr. 10 with live music, theatre performances, fairy tale readings, photography, art and DJs. Sounds magical! Starts at 19h.

Wednesday

If you don’t give a shit about the Holy Spirit, how about some action? Movie night with Die Hard at Sing Blackbird, Sanderstr. 11, 19:30h.

Thursday

One day before Christmas it’s either wrapping up the last presents OR spending one last relaxed night at the movie theatre. Thursday the new Tom Tykwer movie DREI will start playing. It’s a story about an unusual (and unnoticed) threesome relationship starring the brilliant Sophie Rois who I saw a couple of times on stage here in Berlin. As it’s a German movie this is probably nothing for our non-German speaking readers.
