This week is all about the women. Talking vaginas, working girls, female serial killers, artists, DJs and designers. What would this city be without its creative women?! Exactly: strictly gay! The events after the jump.

Wednesday

A special peformance in English and German of the Vagina Monologues is happening at .HBC, Karl-Liebknecht-Str. 9, 19h.

Girls On Film is the new bar night on Wednesdays for the working girl. Come together at the the bar The Lodge at Rosa-Luxemburg-Str. 9-13. Boys welcome.

Sing Blackbird’s Movie Night! This time with Badlands the 1973’s drama about the serial killings by a teenage girl with her twenty-something boyfriend in the Dakota badlands. Starts at 20h, Sanderstr. 11.

Thursday

This one is particularily interesting for the journalists, stylists and bloggers amongst you. The Berlin Press Days are presenting the collections of many designers in several locations all over the city on Thursday and Friday. A favorite is the showroom of Arne Eberle taking place at Oona Galerie, Auguststr. 26.

Berlin-based IAMX is playing live at Astra at 20h, Revaler Str. 99. Watch the new video Ghosts of Utopia to get in the mood.

Get your Mix CDs ready. The Blind Date Swingers Club / Mix CD Exchange is back, tonight at HBC, Karl-Liebknecht-Str. 9.

Friday

Unlike Gallery at Chausseestr. 116 presents the first solo show by Berlin-based artist and illustrator Karla Marie Bentzen. The opening of Dirty Fingers starts at 19h and the exhibition will run until May 15th.

Saturday

Design collective The Offer is celebrating the release of their magazine with a few live acts and DJs at Antje Oeklesund, Rigaerstr. 71-73, starting at 19:30h. More details over here.
