Contemporary dancers Angela Schubot and Jared Gradinger are presenting their new production Is Maybe at HAU1, Stresemannstr. 28. After the great success of their first duet “What they are instead of” (2009) their second work is continuing their research of ‘debordering’ the body. Can I escape from my own “I” whilst looking for a home in someone else in an unconditional being-together? To answer these questions they collaborate with the US-American street artist Mark Jenkins who is well known for his installations of body doubles in public space that look strikingly real. The piece is performed this week from Thursday to Sunday at 19:30h.

Friday, June 17

The kaleidoskop gallery at Boddingstr. 7 presents UNFOLDED MOMENTUM, a fashion show previewing the newest collections of four international designers in a multimedia context. The designers are Von Bardonitz, IKKAI, Ame Soeur and Matthias Louwen. The shows start at 20, 21 and 22h with an after party right after. A showroom with all the collection will be held on Saturday starting at 19:30h.

The city is your playground. Starting today and running till Saturday June 19th 2011 the Invisible Playground project is presenting the You Are Go! international street games festival at Hebbel am Ufer (HAU2), Hallesches Ufer 32. There are games for everyone to participate in on all three days. Check the schedules here.

A very unsusal place was chosen for the group exhibition Puff the magic dragon. The streetartists behind this decided to make their event in a former brothel (German: Puff) in the far West of Berlin at the Stuttgarter Platz 15 right in front of the S-Bahnhof Charlottenburg. The opening starts at 19h.

While you are in the West, you might want to drop by the vernissage of Designer Scouts photographer André Wagner who is showing his new solo exhibition The Beauty of Time at Rosendahl Gallery at Kurfürstendamm 213 starting at 19h. More about this soon.

Get ready for another fantastic Blitz themed party. The glamorous 80s movement will be revisited at LUX, Schlesische Str. 41, starting at 23h. More about this soon.
