Wow, what kind of week was that? The last week was crazy with all the art events and the Berlin Festival, which was massive! Luckily, this doesn’t mean that this week is dead. Far from it! The art scene is not taking a break. All the events after the jump!

Tuesday, Sept. 13

Panel discussions are dead! Art satire video blog Artstars* presents The New Art Criticism – a one-woman-show by Nadja Sayej about the art scene. Join here. Takes place at HBC, Karl-Liebknecht-Str. 9, 21h.

Wednesday, Sept. 14

Project space MicaMoca at Lindowerstr. 22 opens the group exhibition Handlungsbereitschaft at 19h. Artworks sprout from the correspondence between the individual and society. The exhibition creates a draft of our generation and continues its analysis in text and talk. Handlungsbereitschaft is a potential that can result in change. The exhibtion will be open until September 18th, 2011.

Some Magazine is a totally random new magazine somewhere between design and art. It celebrates its launch at Max Dax’ VUP lounge at HBC, Karl-Liebknecht-Str. 9, at 19h. There will be talks, drinks and some magazines.

Thursday, Sept. 15

The Gestalten Space at Sophie-Gips-Höfe, Sophienstr. 21, presents the solo exhibition The Beautiful Struggle by Chicago-based artist Dzine. The opening reception starts at 18h. The exhibition runs until October 16th, 2011.

The Berlin vs. Copenhagen edition of the live graphic battle Vector Lounge takes place at West Berlin Gallery, Brunnenstr. 56, 20h.

The new art gallery Studio 8 opens with a three-day-vernissage with live music by Dillon on Thursday, Aurora Kiss on Friday and BEASTS on Saturday. Opens at 17h on Thursday (concert around 20h) at Grüntalerstr. 8.

Saturday, Sept. 17

The popular frontline shop is celebrating the opening of their Berlin pop-up store that will be open 24/7 for one week until Sept. 24, 2011. Come by Torstr. 66 to see, try and buy their new fall styles live in Berlin. On the first day the store opens at 15h for the public.

The Elevate Festival from Graz is making a tour stop in Berlin at the new What?! Club at Karl-Liebknecht-Str. 11 with Dorian Concepts live, and DJs Phon.o, Clara Moto and Glow. Starts at 23h.
