Monday, Dec. 5

Cityslang is having a Christmas Ball tonight at Lido with live acts DAN MANGAN + Band, MATTHEW CAWS (Nada Surf), CHERILYN MACNEIL (Dear Reader) and FRUIT BATS. Cuvrystr. 7, 19h.

Tuesday, Dec. 6

The English language city magazine Slim is hosting the SLIM WEEK at S.K. Robinson, Skalitzer Str. 36 from Tuesday through Monday next week. There will be exhibits, live radio streams, concerts and parties featuring artists and DJs close to the magazine. Check out the program over at RA. Tuesday marks the opening event with a DJ set by Dirt Crew and an art installation by various artists starting at 18h with free entry.

HBC’s Low Budget Cinema with the German film Papa Gold (with English subtitles) starts at 20h, Karl-Liebknecht-Str. 9.

Wednesday, Dec. 7

The charming Agnes is hosting a new early cocktail night titles Pan Am at the chic Amano Bar that serves some really good cocktails. Starts at 19h, Auguststr. 43.

Opening event of the Brian Ferry art exhibition presented by Electronic Beats at HBC, Karl-Liebknecht-Str. 9, starting at 21:30h. The exhibition runs until January 8th, 2012.

This week live at Shade / Flamingo: No Bra. DJ set by Rodeo. Starts at 23:30h. Kleine Präsidentenstrasse am Monbijoupark.

Thursday, Dec. 8

New avant-garde fashion store and asian restaurant Oukan 71 is hosting a reading and talk with author Steven Uhly and his book Adams Fuge starting at 20:30h at Kronenstr. 71 in Mitte. See flyer for details and reservation.

The Bakery Gallery is opening their group exhibition Dem Mutigen Gehört die Welt (The Brave own the World) at  19h at Waldemarstr. 38. The exhibition will run until December 21st, 2011.

Seven Heaven is a new experimental music bar night at ktv, Chausseestr. 36, hosted by the talented artist and DJ Hara Katsiki. Starts at 22h, free entrance.

Friday, Dec. 9

Kater Holzig is having a big designer sales with many amazing Berlin designers and shops from 13-21h. Ho Ho Ho Weihnachtskater Markt at Michaelkirchstr. 22. See the flyer below for a list of designers and shops.

Neurotitan Gallery is opening their groups installation exhibition Simple is Rare this Friday at 20h. The exhibition runs until January 7th, 2012. Rosenthaler Str. 39.

Achteinhalb is presenting the exhibition Acid Dog by Roman Klonek this Friday starting 19h at Kollwitzstr. 42. The colorful and fun illustrations will be exhibited in the store until January 14th, 2012.

Flamboyant magazine Et Alors? is having their launch party together with the Christmas party of Strychnin Gallery, Boxhagener Str. 36, starting at 19h.

Get your fancy dresses out! The Blitz party is having its Christmas edition this Friday at Horst Kreuzberg, Tempelhofer Ufer 1, starting at 23h.

Saturday, Dec. 10

The KW Institute for Contemporary Art is having a lottery with selected pieces of their collection. The artwork can be viewed this weekend and next weekend on Saturday and Sunday from 12-19h. The lottery will be drawn on January 13th 2012 at 19h. Lottery tickets go for 100 EUR. Auguststr. 69.

HBC Playtime with female indie musicians Gudrun Gut, Mansfield Tya, Christine & the Queens and Yula live. Starts at 21h, Karl-Liebknecht-Str. 9.
