Doeskin at HBC
After the wonderful Anna-Lena from artfridge has supplied us with cool art events in the last two months I will now take over again with the weekly event guide, a mix of art, fashion, movie, culture and party. .HBC is hosting a reading of Black Cracker, Anika, Ricardo Domeneck (maker of Shade Inc.) with a DJ set by Luvinski (Paris Suit Yourself) starting at 20h. Karl-Liebknecht-Str. 9.
You like Jazz and Bossanova? You like the harp? My friend and harpist Simonetta is playing with her band tonight at b-flat, starting at 21h at Rosenthaler Str. 13.

I sort of miss the Dinner for friends at Prenzlauer 242 by Appartement. Gladly, we now have Family Times at Merkezi, Adalbertstr. 5/6 at Kotti starting at 19:30h. This week with DJ Justine Electra, a free basic menu and drinks at the bar.

The Mindpirates are showing some shorts of the 2012 Sundance film festival, starting at 19:30h, at Schlesische Str. 38.
The 032c workshop is presenting Solution 246: Mythcraft where architects, artists and theorists propose SOLUTIONS for the homo-erotic art of TOM OF FINLAND by presenting artifacts from a constructed mythology. Starts at 20h at Brunnenstr. 11.
Thursday, Mar 15
Urban Outfitters are opening their second store in Berlin at Kudamm 19-24. Come by the opening celebration with music by Sick Girls, as well as treats and drinks from 17-21h.
Opening of a big group exhibition titled Things Fall Apart at ECC Atelierhaus, Neumagener Straße 23, 13088 Berlin, 19h. The show will be on display Friday till Sunday from 12-18h.
The Voo store was awarded with the Superstore award by Farfetched.com and is celebrating this honor starting at 20h, Oranienstr. 24.
Berlin’s sexy queer women and their friends are having a ball with the big Berlin Femme Show. You are invited to Lido, Cuvrystr. 7, for a fabulous evening starting at 19h showcasing the very best of queer femme creative talent! The evening begins in a relaxed and elegant way with a spoken word salon complete with delicious femme catering by Ohlàlà Tartes-shop, followed by a breathtaking & sexy cabaret! Sexy Sampson is hosting a new queer Karaoke night called Cherry O Kie at Südblock, Admiralstr. 1-2, starting at 22h. In this months edition the party is co-hosted by the fabulous Crystal Tits and Voin from Blitz Club.
Friday Mar 16
Strychnin Gallery opens the Charity exhibition Herzensbrecher (heartbreakers) with individually designed porcelain hearts from over 50 international artists. Parts of the proceeds will be donated to the charity “Ein Herz für Kinder”. The exhibition runs until April 8th, 2012 and will the move on to other cities of the world. Vernissage starts at 19h at Boxhagener Str. 36.
London’s notorious queer party Gutterslut is returning to Berlin this Friday at Lovelite, Simplonstr. 38-40 starting at 23h. Come slutty!

Avantgarde concept store Oukan71 is hosting Ein Abend Vor Der Nacht, a release party of Berlin-based record label Innervisions, from 20-23h, Kronenstr. 71.
.HBC is inviting the the first Pompidou Club with the Berlin debut performance of doeskin, the electronic landscape of American performance artist Domino Davis (Dearling Physique). Aftershow party with DJ Emilio El-Lauren from the It-Boys! Karl-Liebknecht-Str. 9.
Sunday, Mar 18
The NBI has re-opened in the form of a new bar at Zionskirchstr. 5. Their Sunday nights are called Bronze, hosted by Zuckerbrot & Peitsche. Starts at 20h.
