While I was gone it seems the city has already regenerated itself in some ways, closing a bunch of places and opening new ones somewhere else. You never get bored and it never stops to entertain you with new things.
One of Berlin’s new pearls is the restaurant Katz Orange. I went there on the first night after the return from my trip and what a great choice it turned out to be to welcome me back! The restaurant is located in a stunning old villa in a backyard of Bergstraße in Mitte. The barnyard-meets-vintage-factory interior is perfectly cozy and interesting to observe and there are a lot of charming details to keep you occupied while waiting for your meals to arrive such as the beautiful mixed-up vintage silverware. From the menu, we tried out the venison burger, the beef tartar, and the petit fours, all of which were absolutely delicious. Have a look after the jump for some impressions of the place and the food, as well as the details.
