After last year’s Couture Eggs we are once again organizing a big Easter event for you guys. We have teamed up with Merkezi, the new food gallery at Kotti to give you the big EASTER SUNDAY SPECIAL. Starting at 12h we welcome you at the gallery with a variety of cakes and snacks, as well as coffee and drinks for your late breakfast or afternoon delight.
In the afternoon we are also sending you out into the sidestreets of Kotti to go on an Easter Egg Hunt. We’ll give you hints on where to find the eggs here on the blog and in the gallery. If you find them you can exchange them for awesome gifts sponsored by our friends from the new online shopping club fab.de. After the jump you’ll see a preview of what they have supplied us with.
In the evening starting at 22h we’ll ask you for a dance and turn it into a party with the fabulous SNAX live and wonderful DJ sets by Sophia Brown from the Tigeress (Backyard), Engtanzkavalier (Picknick) and Florian Kolmer (Scala, Flamingo). If you’ve ever been to one of our events you know there will be the most delicious cupcakes and snacks you have ever eaten! This time we’re putting together a big cake buffet, as well as waffles, quiches, omlettes and soups for your late breakfast hunger, your appetite for an afternoon delight and if there’s anything left as a light supper. We open the doors at 12h, there is no entrance fee.
When it comes to Easter we all become children again! Because who doesn’t love an Easter Egg hunt? We’ll send you out in the streets to find the eggs. We’ll give you hints on where to look here on the blog and at the event. If you find our eggs you have to return them to the event. Inside the eggs there will be vouchers that you can exchange for nice presents by fab.de (some of them you can see below), as well as some goodies from our cake buffet. The exhibition catalogue of ARTandPRESS, the current Martin-Gropius-Bau exhibiton, is also amongst the goodies. Good luck and happy seeking!
And what would an iHeartBerlin event be without a party, right? So we invited the awesome SNAX to give us a live gig for the special occasion. I hope he will play his rework of Madonna’s Music. And of course we need some DJs, so we invited some our our favorite ones. First of all the foxy Sophia Brown from the infamous Tigeress DJ Team. She has given us a lot of pleasures at the Last Days parties at Backyard and surely has some more for us here. For the ladies we invited the charming Engtanzkavalier who has made you dance dirty at Picknick many times! Entrance for the party is 3 EUR.
