When Saints Go Machine
( Classic ) concerts, theme-parties, book presentations and more this weekend. No time to visit mommy and daddy. Parties after the jump and to win tickets for Last Days leave a comment related to the party:
Thursday
The concert series Certain People again brings a popular act to Berghain: Hercules and Love Affair, yeah they had nice songs and I still love the older Blind but apart from them, Matthew Dear and When Saints Go Machine are playing too which is assumably more exciting. No? Okay!
CDR at Prince Charles with Jazzanova and more doing workshops, also the yard is open for early hours from now on!
At Rosenthaler Platz some posh club is supposed to be opening tonight, made by the Rodeo people or whatever, perhaps this is a rumour, but if you are in the area why not take a walk and do a bit of a club hunting!
Friday
“A smart guide to Utopia – 111 inspiring ideas for a better city” is a very special travel guide to including contributions of iheartberlin.de, being presented at the Markthalle IX, Eisenbahnstraße 42/43 at 6 pm, including projects such as the Prinzessinnengärten and the Stattbad Wedding! Check out the facebook event.
It is all Deep Fried at About Blank with djs Schoppen Wittes, Blacktronica and more on the Trail of Death between Rummelsburg and Renate!
Gretchen goes for Dub : Step with Dark Sky from London and Joker from Bristol playing, furthermore Robotic. Of course the hip shit is made by Englishmen, grr!
Saturday
There they are – the last days of David Hasselhoff. Abuse of alcohol, weird appearances as Hitler and the everlasting pull – in – tummy have made him a candidate for Last Days of the Hoff! Backyard therefore opens the yard and is going to move, in case it rains and storms as the forecast predicts, the whole beach decoration to the inside. Following the dress code will be rewarded at the doors, expect the djs, lady’s most loved Engtanzkavalier, party – expat Easton West and the It- Boys ( who are not of this world ) to wear red swimwear. Gitschinerstr. 22, next to the Prinzenbad, U Prinzenstr.!
Something rather unusual, but we think you guys could bear a little bit of culture in between all these booze parties… The Zentralkapelle is a real orchestra playing at the famous Philharmonie at cause of their 10th birthday and if you belive it or not, it is quite popular in Berlin. Not less than 60 musicians will be playing and the price ranges from fair 12,- Euro to 7 or 20. You can also use the tickets for the afterparty!
At Watergate there is Souvenir Night with the sorts of Re:You, Rampa and Tiefschwarz, proper touristic but probably also solid shit for you folks!
Sunday
Times have changed, the friends in blue former green destroy every possible open air, so places have to be announced a few hours before, then we all got to quickly run there in order to dance at least afew hours before they arrive and take the equipment with them. The InLove open air, one of numerous though, gives it a try. It starts at 2 pm, announcement some short time before!
Tuesday
The Gossip are playing and at Loftus Hall there is an Aftershow Party obviously with them doing a dj set, also Anika, Marius Funk and Kate Boss! Take care, that singer is a loud person, but as she once said, she has to be because of her appearance / weight. Hm..!
