This sucks. Two titans are hanging out in Berlin right now – one of them A$AP Rocky, being here for a sold out show at Festsaal Kreuzberg and Nicolas Jaar, being here for the exhibition of his father, using the opportunity to play a secret gig at the same time as Rocky. No chance to get to either one of these events and the rest of the electronic crowd hangs out in Barcelona for Sonar. We offer you parties out of this special – shit – thing, decent Berlin parties for fun loving people after the jump:

Helsinki Fresh Exhibition Opening Party @ Direktorenhaus (Am Krögel 2, Berlin). The party starts at 9 pm with musical performances organized by Kaiku Studios, with the possibility of meeting the 25 Finnish fashion designers of the Helsinki FRESH Exhibition. The bar will be open until 1am!
Friday
Parallympics day 1 starts today at 4 pm, Griessmühle, Sonnenallee 221 with djs Charly Delhom, Sander Markey, Esther Dujin and Lapian aka Metropolis!
Turbo Label Night at Prince Charles Club with Locked Groove, Wool and Marcus Krickow. The party starts at 11 pm, but there is a barbeque from 7 pm onward before, also with music by various djs, U Moritzplatz!
Homopatik Friday Night Fever at About // Blank, the gay party at Markgrafendamm 24c, Friedrichshain, trail of death!
4 Years of Killekill takes place at Suicide Circus and djs are Alex Cortex, Radioactive Man, DJ Flush (killekill) and more. Suicide Circus, Revalerstr. 99!

Katermarkt, vintage market at Kater Holzig. Buy all these feathered hast, funny joker make -up, faked moustaches, Marie Antoinette – underwear and as much glitter as you can get. Just joking, I am sure, there will be the odd vintage dress or jumper, too. 12 pm at Kater Holzig. I was just about to write down the old adress of Bar 25, Holzmarktstr, haha. However Holzig ist just around the corner!
Bleach#3, a younger night at Backyard, strictly electronic with former Bar 25 girl Pilocka Krach djing, furthermore the man for long nights and days, Sebastian Klenk, Björn Baru of Styropor and residents Hula Hula Reisegruppe who you might know from the Beinfreiheit parties. The first two parties were really nice last but not least because of the cosy atmosphere at Backyard, Gitschinerstr. 22, U Prinzenstr.!
Parallympics is not a sports event for disabled people but day 2 of a party at Griessmühle in Neukölln. Adrian Friedrich, Black Choke, Mareena Sonderbar, Luca Doobie, Daniela La Luz and Yannick Robyns playing from 12 pm ( daytime ) at the” Gelände der Nudelfabrik am Neuköllner Schiffahrtskanal ” ( please don’t let me translate this )!
Yes! featuring Ian Pooley, Meggy and more at Watergate, a real club with not much of Berlin charme left, but a solid line – up and a really nice view on the Spree!

Soccer time. You haven’t noticed that the European championship is on? Now you know little party rat only leavin your hole at night. Watch Germany win. Or lose. Who can predict that? You can basically watch it everywhere, at the fan mile if you like, but good places are Backyard, The Mindpirates, Wilde Renate and basically everywhere where there is a yard!
One of numerous Open Airs is Fabelhaftes Planschbecken at Fabelstr. 6 in an old pool with djs ????? (live), Bara Bröst, Tim Vitá, Oliver Gehrmann, Xaver Hirsch, Marius Krickow. Don’t rely too much on this, Berlin is turning into every other capital, policia is making it hard for us and might stop the party. But even this can be fun. Police comes, volume down, police leaves, volume up. Police turns up again, stop music, police heads off, turn it up again. Police returns, pissed off, actually waiting around the corner, they take the sound system with them. If you are smart, you brought a second one. That is how it goes!
