We all love design. But what exactly do we mean by that? I actually think that people always associates design with “things that look pretty”. I am really bothered by such thoughts, because I know that design is so much more. Great design for me should always try to achieve the perfect combination between beauty and functionality. A lot of great projects and ideas where presented at the international design festival DMY in Berlin last week. If you wanted to check out some really innovative design companies you might have been disapointed. Actually the main stands where from tourist boards of several countries presenting an overview of some of their new design talents and the several German design universities who showed the students’ graduation projects. Still, I have some wonderful impressions of my little stroll over the DMY for you after the jump.
