The classic Converse Chuck Taylor, one of the most iconic sneakers of all time, is up for a reboot. Launched earlier this week, the new Chuck II comes as a high top and low cut in 4 different colors, with improved materials and functionality, turning this classic sneaker into a piece of contemporary footwear.
To celebrate the release, Converse teamed up with some of the world’s most creative visual artists and photographers to create artworks in the spirit of the new Chuck Taylor All Star II. After the jump you can see some of these.

One of the creatives that Converse got involved was Instagramer 13thwitness, a masterful photographer of urban life, architecture and cityscapes. You can see some of his amazing photos above.
The second artist to show you is French videographer Graphonaute who made this super cool animation of an exploding Chuck II, so you can see the improved special features of the shoe. Pretty smart! Check out the video below.
The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II launched online this week and is available in select stores including Zalando, Snipes and Sidestep.
