Flowers are totally hype these days! With quite a few flower related start-ups and projects on the rise it seems they are taking over the reign from the trending positions of food delivery and dating apps of the last couple of years. The slightly antiquated job of the florist is now totally in fashion again.
Flower services such as Florale Welten, Damerius, Flowerstudio Berlin, Bloomon and many more are now reinventing the classical flower bouquet to make it into the contemporary, Instagram-worthy little pieces of art that people just can’t help but fall in love with.

This coming weekend they are organizing a huge Flower Market at Bikini Berlin that you shouldn’t miss. The amazing flower installation by Rebecca Louise Law in Spring showed us that flowers and the Bikini Berlin go really well together, so we are looking forward to this new flowertastic event.
The Flower Market will transform the upper terrace of the Bikini Berlin concept mall into a sea of flowers on the coming weekend on June 25 and 26. Several local florists (for example the ones I mentioned above) will be there with booths and their extra creative bouquets. The neighboring stores Gestalten and SUPER will be serving some food, California Pops will be offering their delicious popsicles straight outta Kreuzberg and The Juicery will bring their healthy and colorful smoothies all the way from Prenzlauer Berg. Also some local brands such as Frau Tonis Perfum, MYK and Schoemig Porzellan will bring their fabulous products to the market that just fit perfectly into this flower wonderland.
Of course a market with so much creativity is also going to trigger your own creativity. In this case you should take part in some of their workshops: Learn how to make your own amazing bouquets, a beautiful flower crown for the next summer festival, learn more about flower photography and silk screen printing.
