Another stressful week comes to an end, another weekend awaits us to discover new places around the city that will make us forget our hangover from the day before and start, thus, our day with irresistible food porn. Here is the third edition of our district breakfast guide, which explores Friedrichshain this week. You have to let Aunt Benny spoil you, all you need to do is choose if that will happen through their remarkable cakes, their addictive drinks or their crunchy croissants or all together. If you want to enjoy this place for more than just breakfast they also have an evening menu and excellent drinks at night.

Milja & Schäfa
Another place we love is Milja & Schäfa, since it remind us, that you can always get positively surprised, even when you think that you have tried everything Berlin’s immense breakfast scene has to offer. I bet there is magic in their pancakes, try them and let us know if you agree!

Silo Coffee in Friedrichshain that opened a few years ago has really made a change in Friedrichshain, making the district a lot cooler than it used to be. They offer really creative dishes with poached eggs, mushrooms and avocados on their menu that include a lot of vegan and gluten free options as well. Coffee lovers will be delighted to get the coffee from The Barn here.
