Creative Community Link: A Networking Event for Artists

Advert.

Together with our partner Squarespace we invite artists of all genres to a networking event for the creative community in Berlin, happening on September 19th at 7 p.m.

We have been hosting exhibitions with iHeartBerlin for more than 14 years now and one of the best parts of this is the joy of creating space for artists to come together and feel part of a community. As artists mostly work alone, the rare opportunities for them to come together as a community are at group exhibitions. We want to use our platform to create more opportunities for them. Our Creative Community Link event with Squarespace is the first step.

Highlighting artists and supporting talents in Berlin is what iHeartBerlin is all about. We have been musing on the concept of the Community Link project now for a while. When Squarespace came to us with a proposal to collaborate, it felt like all the right parts had fallen into place.

Globally, Squarespace has been nurturing their own community with events and projects for many years now and we saw a great overlap with iHeartBerlin’s own community work. Especially artists and creative people are using their all-in-one platform to not only build beautiful websites to showcase amazing art and projects.Their business tools also help creatives build a business based on their talent. During our event on September 19th you will get a live preview of how easily it’s done.

For our Creative Community Link event we are inviting our network of artists and creatives in Berlin – many of whom we have previously worked with for exhibitions or features on iHeartBerlin. But we also hope to expand our network with this event, as we always seek to find new talented individuals and exciting projects in Berlin.

Our first live edition will be about “community” which is just the right theme to get this project started. We invited artists Vera Kochubey and Harriet Blend to speak to us about their perspectives on community and transforming followers into a community during an open talk that will hopefully inspire further conversations during the evening. We want our guests to feel inspired and exchange with other creative people. It’s all about making connections.

If you feel like this project speaks to you and you are looking for an opportunity to connect with other artists and creatives, feel free to register for the guestlist here. The Guestlist is closed now.
