Aperitivo Berlino: A Guide to the Best Aperitif Bars in Berlin

The days are heating up again, the evenings are getting longer and the desire to share a cool aperitif with friends is pulling many Berliners out of their homes. The streets are filling up again with lively people, craving to catch up on the latest news from their friends, seeking the next delicious glass of Aperol Spritz. To give you some ideas on how to start the upcoming warm summer nights, we would like to introduce you to some great aperitif bars in Berlin.

Frau Luna

The atmospheric aperitif bar Frau Luna is located directly on the Paul-Lincke-Ufer and inspires with its rustic charm and nostalgic interior. Apart from the classic aperitif drinks like Aperol Spritz, Campari, Negroni and wine, they serve an East-German twist of the classic aperitif food: A slice of bread topped with delicious fresh ingredients – or as owner Jonas likes to call them: Stulle. If you want to enjoy your aperitif here, you can end the evening with a nice walk along the Landwehrkanal.

AltoAdige

Feeling like going somewhere a little fancy? AltoAdige in the beautiful Charlottenburg offers wines of all kinds in an elegant rustic ambiance. The name of the bar means South Tyrol and it is exactly from this area that the bar delights us with its special selection of Italian wine. Aperitivo time is from 3 to 8 pm, where you can enjoy small bites from the buffet with the wine of your choice!

Bar Gallina

The Vineria Gallina is a quaint place in the Wrangelkiez, cozy, warm, and lively like Kreuzberg itself. Enjoy Italian antipasti, cheese, and sausage specialties from Veneto, Campania, and Apulia. This is the place for a delicious after-work aperitif with good music.

Altes Europa

The atmospheric cafe bar Altes Europa is located at the corner of the Gipspark and has been delighting their guests for many years with its unique, rustic, romantic ambiance. It’s not really a dedicated aperitif bar, but it made our list anyway because of its unique charm. Whether for an aperitif or as a prelude to a long, wild night, a visit to Altes Europa could turn into anything you want!
