For their tenth climate concert, the musicians of the Staatskapelle Berlin will be performing at a site of Berlin’s industrial history: the former combined heat and power plant in Mitte. For a long time it supplied people with heat, but today it is an overwhelming space in whose palpable energy the artists of the Staatskapelle, together with conductor Frank Strobel, will bring the melting glacier landscapes of 100 years ago to life.
