Once again we will be your guide to navigate through the vast amounts of events during the upcoming Berlin Fashion Week that starts next Monday showing you all the things that we think are relevant for you. As always are focus is on young designers, avant-garde and street fashion and – most importantly – events that are open to the public. Make sure to check back into this guide in the next couple of days as we will be adding more stuff to it. Have fun!
On Friday probably 90% of our fellow bloggers were celebrating at the StyleNite after party because apparently that’s the place to be that night. We had a different place to: The after show party of some amazing designers who we love and who are as mad as a box of hair (at least in the case of one of them this is meant quite literal): Tata Christiane, Charlie Le Mindu and Vava Dudu. The crazy party organized byconcept store UNI+FORM took place at P.O.P. and none-other than Peaches was entertaining the eclectic crowd. Some impressions after the jump.
While my outfits for the first days of Fashion Week were a bit more daring toward the end of the week they became more comfortable and casual. Especially for the weekend, for the Wedding Dress festival for urban fashion, I chose a quite easy-going outfit. Inspired by my friend Bonnie Strange and centered around her T-Shirt from her bachelorette party I went with some layers of pastel shirts, a simple dark jeans and my Kenzo x Vans shoes. It’s kind of rare that I present my outfits like this but my colleagues from Two For Fashion, the blog by Otto that I have been contributing now for the past months, asked me to join in on the parade and I’m happy to do so. It’s that time of the year where a high percentage of the people I’m connected to on Facebook are only writing about what they are going to wear next week. Berlin Fashion Week starts tomorrow and everyone’s abuzz. This season a whole armarda of iHeartBerlin authors will be going to the shows and events to offer an extensive and diverse coverage of the Berlin Fashion Week for you guys. If you want to dip in yourself and get caught up in the fashion madness you should have a look in our brand spanking new Berlin Fashion Week guide. We selected all the events and parties that we want to visit ourselves. A colorful mix of cocktail receptions, parties, fashion shows, installations, exhibitions, sales and whatnot. I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO WEAR!!! Seriously, I have no idea what I am gonna wear next week. Not a single outfit. Somehow I have neglected to go shopping in the past few months. My wallet is grateful, but I am in horror of those moments I need to get dressed to leave the house for the coming week.
My mundane problems aside, once again we have selected the most interesting – and most importantly: public – events, shows and parties of the upcoming Berlin Fashion Week. We also added a couple of events that are closed, but that we are raffling off tickets for in our big Berlin Fashion Week Ticket Packages. All the fashion blogs, magazines and PR agencies are abuzz with the upcoming Berlin Fashion Week that will kick of next Tuesday. This is only half-exciting for the fashion enthusiasts amongst you, because as you know the majority of the events are for invited guests only. Luckily, we have once again prepared a big Berlin Fashion Week Event & Party Guide including many public events. On top of bringing you the best of fashion week in one guide we have put together two exciting packages of tickets for shows and parties for you to win as well as a couple of amazing goodies.

On the fourth day of Berlin Fashion Week our beloved label Odeur had their presentation at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week studio. As always, they managed to give minimalism a unique and intersting edge. Check out the video and the pictures after the jump, as well as some more impressions of the day on 2 pages.
On our third day of Berlin Fashion Week I took my time to visit all the avant-garde showrooms and exhibitions. This might not sound so exciting because there is no event or show or party taking place. But here I get the chance to actually talk to the designers who create all these great collections face-to-face and get to know the person that designs the clothes I am wearing. On my tour I visited the SEEK exhibition, Temporary Showroom, Collect, the (capsule) tradeshow and finally the showroom of Edged and fier Management.
