Off the highway to hell – into a beautiful future!
Together against the expansion of the A100! Before the impending opening of the 16th section, we are sending a signal: A broad alliance from neighborhoods, clubs, culture, climate activism, queer feminism and many more is fighting for a livable, just Berlin for all.
Our city lies beneath the asphalt.
The A100 is destroying green spaces, displacing clubs, driving up rents & the climate crisis. We say: Stop the fossil fuel madness! Instead of investing billions in concrete, we demand a climate-friendly, social mobility transition.
Our demands:
-Immediate stop to the A100 expansion
-An end to the Federal Transport Infrastructure Plan
-An end to car-oriented urban planning
-Affordable housing for all
-City for people – not for cars!
Berlin thrives on diversity, open spaces & culture.
Instead of traffic jams: space for queer, migrant, disabled and marginalized people. For community, nature & projects with a future!
From 2 pm: car-free street protest for children & adults: with cabaret, chalk, picnic, children’s course & open spaces for everyone. Bring your frisbees, friends & ideas!
In the evening: Bass against concrete.
We dance with clubs, collectives & cultural institutions against hate & displacement. On the stages: Speeches, info, networking & FLINTAQ* open air safer space.
Bassing away is what you make of it!
