BAD GIRLS is a collaboration between derelict-drag performers Oozing Gloop and Anali Goldberg. Both have quick wits, terrible taste and ADHD. Their personas Agnes and Lydia von Puffendorf open a door, to their most intimate psyche. To celebrate the absurdity inherent in our normality; not as figures of authority, but also – not as victims. These robust women inhabit a fragile space… These BAD GIRLS have gone on holiday!
Gloop and Goldberg mutually inspire one another with their free form approach to storytelling, excessive stage presences and both bring a specific post-theatrical-post-drag flavour of regret (to everything they do.) They formed the collaboration BAD GIRLS to have a rapid process of making work that is playful, fun and socially attuned to the cultural position of the audience. The goal of this evening is communion between performers and audience members, so we may laugh and cry at it all together. This show debuted in Monster Ronson’s Ichiban Karaoke and now celebrates its Sophiensæle-premiere!
