Bedda Matri is a concept that combines Sicilian culinary tradition with Georgian wine expressions.
From the 18.-22.9.2023, guest chef Sophie will introduce her German-Sicilian Fusion Kitchen with lots of vegan and gluten-free delights in the SACREBLEU! Winebar.
Sicily is where Sophie’s spent most of her summers at her families house, worked at local farms and which has taken a part of her heart. The southern flavors will be realized in a local form as much of the used produce is coming from Uckermark, some directly harvested and produces from her own garden. The inclusive Gastroconcept focuses on vegan and gluten-free dishes, occasionally topped off with fish or diary products – for you all to share one flavourful meal.
To accompany Sophie’s dishes, sommelier Alexandre Fleck will surprise you with a selection of Georgian wines. Georgia, the epicenter of the birth of wine as we know it today, is often overlooked and underrated for classic pairings. The best wines from Georgia have been chosen to ensure a perfect match with the dish, and to reveal new flavors and expressions according to Sophie’s creations.
