Hamburger Bahnhof celebrates Berlin’s electronic music culture on twelve summer evenings from 16 June to 31 August 2023 with the open-air concert series “Berlin Beats” in the museum’s garden. The music of the featured Berlin artists ranges from experimental sound to hard beats and reflects the vibrancy of the city.
Admission to the “Berlin Beats” events is free, no registration required. The restaurant at Hamburger Bahnhof offers a changing street food and drink menu in the garden. On Friday, 16 June 2023, on the occasion of the “Open House. Tage der offenen Tür” weekend, admission to all exhibitions is also free until 10 pm. On the other dates, the exhibitions will be open until 8 pm and accessible with a valid museum ticket.

Ariel William Orah (soydivision) a.k.a ravenative works primarily with performance and sound art. His work explores conditions of art practices in relation to social and climate-related issues.

Musician, producer and media artist Orson Sieverding’s sets are unmistakably influenced by dub, the rhythm, bass and sound of London’s sound system culture and its Caribbean influences. Adept at all tempos and with great dedication, he sends his audience on a journey from the lowest frequencies to the highest heights.

Hüma Utku is a composer and musical artist who cannot be classified in any genre. Rather, connected to her psychology studies, she uses electronic music to tell stories about the human condition.

Oda Haliti is a defining figure of the Balkan electronic music scene. She masterfully combines disco, techno and acid with experimental industrial electronica, developing her own unique and unmistakable style. The event will be part of the Long Night of Museums.

Cedrik Fermont acts in multiple roles – from composer, musician, author, scientist and curator, to radio host – as a mouthpiece for noise, improvised, electronic and experimental music worldwide.
