The interactive radio play “Concrete. Desert. Future.” invites the audience to explore their own cognitive dissonance between the real climate crisis and fatalistic repression. Between concrete and wasteland, the audience can put their knowledge of the climate crisis, their feelings about it, and their own actions into perspective. With dripping sounds, diving meditation and thought experiments, big questions are asked and small steps towards utopia are dared.
