BUSHWIG IS BACK TO BERLIN, AS A ONE-NIGHT ONLY KIKI, ARE YOU READY?
Bushwig has been called many things from the “Mecca of Drag” to the “Gay Super Bowl” and even the “Coachella of Drag” but one thing we know for sure, it has cemented itself as a true community practice, spawning and showcasing an endless array of talent, performers and internationally distinguished superstars that bring thousands of drag and performance lovers every year to it’s festival in NYC.
With the desire to reach queer communities all around the globe, Bushwig is ready to expand and is adopting a new format, a traveling one-night only party – “Bushwig Presents”.
Going from city to city, Bushwig will act as an agent of community and creativity, focusing on internationally renowned talents and combining it with some of the fiercest local talent, all coming together to create a night of queer excellence and a bubbling community hoping to grow and spread the message it’s always wanted to shout: Bushwig is a place where the freaks of the world can be themselves.
Their first edition of this new format will happen in renowned Berlin arts venue Trauma Bar und Kino and will feature Tik Tok and drag icon Bailey J Mills, Serena Tea (Miss Bushwig 2022) and hailing from Glasgow, PC music darling TAAHLIAH. These international stars will be sharing the stage with Berlin’s finest drag talent and music selectors: Absinthia Absolut, La Viola Vixen, Lola Rose, Miss Steak, Oozing Gloop, Zelda Grimm, Onio, Panasiagirl and a packed Venus Boy Berlin group showcase.
