As Berlin Pride returns, so does The Colors of Pride Kiki Ball—a celebration of visibility, resilience, and joy of the Ballroom community. This year, we shift our spotlight to the pink, white, and blue: the colors of the Trans Pride Flag. In 2025, we need to highlight support, solidarity and visibility towards the T in our community.
In the year since our last ball, trans rights across the globe have been under siege. From the erasure of trans people at the Stonewall National Monument, to anti-trans legislation in the US and UK, rising hostility in Eastern Europe and beyond, and the slow, silent bureaucratic violence within Germany—our trans siblings are being pushed further to the margins. But Ballroom was never about the margins. It’s about stepping into the light and reclaiming as well as creating our spaces.
This edition honors the roots of our culture. Because without trans people, there would be no Pride. Without trans people, there would be no Ballroom. And now more than ever, we must protect, uplift, and celebrate them.
Join us this year again for The Colors of Pride Kiki Ball II: Pink, White & Blue Edition supported by @thesocialhub.berlin .
