Titled Phantom Parade, the 2025 edition of AN(8)X turns to the spectral as point of entry into questions of memory, identity, and the unfinished histories of oppression. Alongside the return of our live-heavy evening program on 15th August and community-focused daytime offerings including markets and karaoke club on 16th August, this year’s festival also features a two-stage party 𝕲𝖍𝖔𝖚𝖑 𝓗𝓠.
On 8th August. for the opening night of this year’s AN(8)X Festival, the ghosts, witches, aliens, and shapeshifters of all kinds are summoned back to the 𝕲𝖍𝖔𝖚𝖑 𝓗𝓠—glitching out of strobe lights and fog, for a full-spectrum sonic invocation from Berlin’s underground core. This two-stage party brings together some of the most vital queer, experimental, and club-focused voices across continents—merging worlds and feeding spirits. Expect an extended club experience with food stands, exclusive merch, and a chill-out pool area at MAAYA Berlin for a mid-rave dip in the height of summer.
While playful in form, this night comes from a real place of urgency and mutual care. It’s the first time four Berlin-based collectives — AN(8)X, Curandera, General Affair and Soul Feeder — have joined forces for a single event. In a moment where self-organised spaces feel increasingly unstable, the aim wasn’t just a common curative vision, but to build a framework of exchange shaped by our different collective practices, personalities, and ways of being together. This gathering marks the first step toward a shared sanctuary built through collaboration and shaped by everyone who enters.
