At playgrounds, you can let go … to enjoy, explore and connect with others – no matter who you are and where you are from.
Come out and play! What a Playground aims to create an open and safer space for FLINTA and BIPoC artists, encouraging them to play first sets to an appreciative, curious and diverse crowd. A space of warm tunes, soft vibes and new encounters. Orangerie Neukölln is a small and intimate venue – let’s look out for each other and make sure everyone is welcome and safe.
FUNDRAISING
What a playground is not only about creating pleasure and joy, but also about caring for each other. During each gathering they invite you to support a trusted organization whose work helps underrepresented people.
In December, they will collect donations at the door for Wassertor e.V.’s food bank. Every day the project organizes free food donations and gives them to people in need at their multigenerational house in Kreuzberg. Raising food prices hamper the general situation of many people in Berlin and the work of this project. Let’s try to support them as best we can.
