Welcome to DIFFUSE LEGENDEN, an art exhibition that explores the complexities of loss, memory, and transience.
Through a powerful combination of artistic expression and emotional connection, this exhibition aims to raise awareness of the importance of memories and the fear of losing them.
The exhibition features two series of large-scale oil paintings that confront the tragic reality that nothing lasts forever. These paintings are complemented by a diverse range of exhibition pieces, including everyday objects found in urban areas and handcrafted dolls that help to illustrate the theme in a more profound way.
In addition to these powerful visual displays, the exhibition also features personal exhibits such as photographs, an 8mm video projection, personal letters and objects that serve to keep memories alive.
Through these exhibits, visitors are invited to reflect on their own experiences of loss and to consider how they cope with the development of forgetting. As a performance piece, artist Ghislain will be tattooing on Saturday June 3, and Sunday June 4, inviting one to explore the juxtaposition of (im)permanence.
