On July 6, Vlady Schklover and Ocean invite you to the Kulturfabrik Moabit, Lehrter Straße 35, 10557 Berlin, to celebrate everything to do with drag art together with the visitors from 2 to 10 pm.
A total of 20 drag artists will present their art through performances, workshops, panel discussions and information stands, discussing current and relevant queer topics. In addition, there will be queer stalls and food trucks curated by ‘That Gay Creation’.
Dragify was born out of the real fear and discrimination faced by drag performers in Berlin. This initiative was born out of the urgent need to be able to express themselves freely and without restrictions in the city. Statistics show an alarming increase in violence against queer people. The monitoring report on trans* and homophobic violence for the year 2022 documented 456 recorded cases, the highest figure since systematic recording began. “Dragify” acts as a powerful statement against this threatening reality by revitalizing drag art and culture and providing them with a light-hearted platform.
