The Expeditions series was founded in spring 2018 with a clear vision of breaking out of the monotony that defines most pure Techno nights in Berlin. The concept is to create a clear musical distinction between the different parts of the night. We strive to create a clear beginning and a decisive end. The Expeditions’ main focus lies on the classical and traditional aspects of Techno: from Detroit groove to hypnotic and atmospheric storytelling. It is being complemented by the more contemporary interpretations of the genre. We believe in Techno as a journey, designed for the dance floor, rather than for podcasts. “When you Stop Moving, you Start Dying”, and therefore, the common denominator to all Expeditions events and curation is energy and movement.
