iHeartBerlin is inviting you to their new group exhibition Fantastic Playground Berlin.

For decades Berlin has been the secret creative hub of Europe. From music to art. From theater to architecture. From techno to science. Berlin became the place where cultures clashed – but in a good way.
In the group exhibition “Fantastic Playground Berlin”, the city and culture magazine iHeartBerlin wants to celebrate the unique diversity of Berlin’s creative scenes and invite the visitors to discover their secrets and potential.
The exhibition will consist of several pieces by visual artists including photographers, illustrators, designers, and video artists. On the opening night, a cast of unique performers will invite the audience to immerse themselves into the fantastic playground of Berlin.
The selection of the involved artists displays intersectional positions and gives space to marginalized and queer voices and performers. Many of them struggled during the lockdown not only financially but also for artistic recognition since most places where they used to work had to close and artistic grants were given to only a few. With vaccines and testing possibilities, it’s time to give the creative scene the space and recognition they deserve for making Berlin so unique.

The Fantastic Playground Berlin is supported by the Bezirksamt Mitte.
