Presented by the Embassy of Ireland, the first German Irish Film Summit will take place in Berlin for film lovers to catch a three-day programme of a diverse genre of films, and as a way for film professionals to meet — with collaboration and co-production in mind.
With feature films ‘Extra Ordinary’ and ‘Arracht’ curated by the Irish Film Institute, two shorts programmes, and a programme of experimental and art films, the summit will present an array of films with Q+As with the filmmakers including Berlin based Mark Noonan, Rioghnach Ní Ghrioghair, Adrian Duncan, Feargal Ward, Holly Keating, Doireann O’Malley, and Declan Clarke and Leipzig based Robert Manson.
