Two nights of storytelling and performance by Black Sex workers inspired by the seminal feminist text, ‘Women Who Run With the Wolves’ by Clarissa Pinkola Estes. Come witness hestory as we collectively take back the stage to tell our own stories. We will create a space where Black Sex Workers can share the complexities of our lives and work, and you can receive education from the source. In addition, you’ll behold the variety of talents and performance skills that we possess, and be mesmerized with a multimedia experience full of surprises. Whores embody the archetype of the dangerous femme who poses a threat to the status quo of the patriarchy; let us inspire you, challenge your preconceptions and share our wisdom with you. Join us for one or both nights as we sit around the proverbial fire to channel the wild femme spirit of divine Black folk. Our very special lineup includes new and seasoned performers, each of whom is a certified heauxstess with tha’ mostest!
