Dasychira (pronounced ˈdah.see.kira') is a South African artist based in New York City. Currently running the label end of fae-minded collective unseelie, Dasychira explores the creative chaos of fantasy and the paranormal -- documenting their experiences of everyday oddities with sound.
Isaka is a music producer and visual artist known for her cryptic xenofeminist aesthetics. Her bass-heavy productions morph between erratic rhythms, futuristic sound design, and otherworldly vocal chop in a style she dubs “hyperbass”. She has developed a live A/V show blending iridescent cyber visuals with her music, inspired by terminally-online queer/trans gamer aesthetics, quantum information theory, as well as demoscene and live-coding, Isaka transforms herself live with makeup and electronic prosthetics in a “get-ready-with-me” style webcam broadcast intertwined with real-time graphics.
