Whispers, lights, soft pulses and hard sounds to keep you warm and curious.
As a part of the fight against the eviction of H48, Hyper Berlin is proud to present:
Miasma
“I was born on the outskirts of Mexico City, which is overwhelming and overloaded with stimuli. I have always been interested in relating to its most visceral, violent, and raw part. There, I have formed my identity and developed my artistic language, on the edge of conflict, of the wound that is always open, of a country that cries bloody, full of rage and pain. That is what my work speaks about, of the abject, of denial, of the erasure of our cultures, and in a tone of protest, we dance and sing together to resist.”
Miasma creates immersive, stimulating musical soundscapes, moving through a world of symbolism and meaning only recognized by those who have crossed the same threshold. This music calls for reflection, overflow, ecstasy, and the embrace of our darkest selves.
An unpredictable force, dislocates and re-contextualizes a wide range of musical genres in the most promiscuous and indecipherable ways.
