In a world that is all about enforcing strict boundaries and limiting our existence, how do we develop utopias and create exuberant possibilities? How do we realize or visualize these utopias and how do we implement them in our daily lives?
Artist:s Liz Rosenfeld, Evan Ifekoya, and GodXXX Noirphiles talk with moderator Elahe Hashemi Yekani about their strategies for creating places of joy, pleasure, and personal expression. The discussion will be followed by multimedia performances and DJ sets by House of Living Colors, based on the knowledge and experiences that queer and trans BIPoC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) have with utopias.
