JOYRIDE is the new in-house event series by Zur Klappe and for our very first edition Camilla Rae (Body Language) has curated a special 303 Day evening.
At the heart of the acid house revolution lies the Roland 303, a small synthesizer with a big impact. Originally intended for guitarists, it found its true calling in the underground rave scene of the late ’80s. Its hypnotic, squelching basslines became the backbone of acid house music, igniting a cultural phenomenon that reverberates to this day.
Beyond its revolutionary sound, acid house embodies a spirit of liberation and uninhibited expression—a spirit that’s undeniably sexy.
So won’t you come take a Joyride with us in Berlin’s most iconic former cruising toilet?

Camilla Rae, co-founder and resident of Body Language and a party girl through and through, she is known for channeling her passion as a raver into sultry, emotive and distinctly femme fatale dancefloor experiences.
Handmade, Tresor resident and acid house aficionado is known for his explosive trademark DJ style: deep and dubby-grounded à la Detroit, with the jacking stabs of Chicago influences and occasional deviations into tougher or more soulful soundscapes. Spending time in the birthplace of house music was enough to get lost in one of the richest dance music narratives of the planet, and the combination of abundant sexiness and spiritual depth, etched into the vinyl of Trax, Dance Mania and Cajual, seemed to parallel a core basic human instinct of pure hedonism cast into black plastic.
MI$$ JUNIA draws inspiration from various historically Black and Queer musical expressions to weave with threads of excellence, grief, and joyfulness into a rug that offers comfort, disruption, a place to play and indulge in passion. With an ever-growing Detroit-influenced selection of house and techno productions as well as deconstructed gems and percussive sounds they try to intuitively boost the crowd and find their ways through rhythm, repetition, and resilience.
