Newly formed KDV Dance Ensemble lead by choreographer and director Kiani del Valle will celebrate the premiere of their debut performance piece “Las Casas Invisibles” at the iconic main hall of Funkhaus Nalepastraße. With this show, they are the first-ever dance production to play at the historic venue.
The piece will feature an ensemble of 10 dancers and live music by RAVEN, FLOATING POINTS and LOTIC. This work is conceptually divided between three musical landscapes that seamlessly merge into one another. It discusses the ethos of constant migration and the feeling of never arriving at the concrete concept of home; a never-ending evolution of paradigms that define the identity of this group of movers.
“Las Casas Invisibles” aims to be the archetype of highly-personal research of Kianí del Valle as a choreographer and migrant for the past 15 years but, most importantly, it’s a reflection of the artistic plight prevalent to this day. Produced by Box Artist Management.
