In Körperfabrik (Body Factory), both the performances and exhibition explore the body as a site of self-expression and a medium subject to control and commodification. Set in Kantgaragen, a former parking structure designed to regulate movement, the space mirrors how bodies are governed by societal constraints. Körperfabrik highlights moments of liberation, resilience, and the potential to transcend systemic pressures.
AUSGANG’s multimedia installation, Tentacles, with its entanglement of lights and wires above the stage, acts as an ever-present surveillance system that disciplines the body and mind without the need for chains or bars. The dancers will interact with the installation, representing the individuals within society, constantly monitored by the gaze of cultural standards and social conformity.

With its focus on the body, the exhibition serves as a reflective mirror to the performances, emphasizing the body as a site where societal narratives are both inscribed and resisted.
