WHAT:
LABYRINTH is a 90-minute performance, where you as the audience enter the underground maze of Berlin’s enigmatic Musikbrauerei, encountering 28 different musicians and dancers. Only the most curious will find them all…
HOW:
Audience members purchase a ticket for a specific two-hour time slot, entering the venue with 199 other intrepid explorers. Randomly assigned a Slavic-inspired runic symbol, audiences will witness ‘The Adoration of the Earth’, before being led down by your Guide – and left free to explore the rest of the venue yourself.
WHEN:
Friday May 16th (2 session)
Saturday May 17th (4 sessions)
WHY:
A tasting menu of Berlin’s finest independent artists, LABYRINTH was originally conceived during the Covid-19 pandemic, as an embrace of the health and safety requirements in 2020. Our initial goal was to offer as many performances as possible within a small timeframe – allowing people to experience as much of our phenomenal art scene as possible in one go.
Since then, our concept has continued to grow and evolve: LABYRINTH #5: Melancholia (November 2023) saw an evolution of the format for the post-Covid world; and LABYRINTH #6: The Rites of Spring is our next big statement.
