What is the driving force of a collective body? How do traditions change in the context of colonialism? And what might folklore look like in today’s dance spaces? C A R C A Ç A approaches these questions directly, by bringing together different practices and dance forms. A ten-person ensemble, accompanied by live percussion and electronic music, brings contemporary street dance into contact with traditional dance forms.
