We are excited to announce the first edition of the MeetArt Showcase: Fashion Meets Dance Edition 001, a unique event taking place during Fashion Week 2025 in Berlin at @studio.db.berlin In an intimate, avant-garde atmosphere, we bring together fashion, dance, art, and music in an interdisciplinary performance that explores new narratives around the theme: “What does home mean to you?”
How can we express this concept through clothing and movement? Is the feeling of home created by our presence in a space, or is it a space that we must transform into our home with objects that evoke that feeling? What is the connection between dance and movement in creating a sense of belonging?
Six dancers and six designers will form creative teams to not only showcase their work but to reimagine it through the fusion of movement, music, and set design. This collaboration will open up a space for deep dialogue between disciplines, questioning traditional presentation formats.
The festival challenges the boundaries of conventional fashion and dance performances, inviting an innovative exploration of home, identity, and belonging. Experience a performance where fashion and dance merge,redefined artistically, and discover new ways of understanding “home”.
