This is your invitation to spend a cold, dark winter’s evening exploring “Other Places,” a multi-disciplinary art event in one of East Berlin’s most iconic sites. “Other Places,” uses the extraordinary architecture of Kino International, as the entry point from which to explore alternate manifestations of abstracted ideas of space and place. Interior and exterior worlds are flipped and folded revealing unexpected axioms and hidden viewpoints. Paintings, installations and sculptural works are strategically installed in the Kino’s lobby and famous Panorama Lounge, while a short film program featuring some of Berlin’s best video creators appears in the fabulous Kino itself. Join us as we toast to transitions and reveal these “Other Places.”
