Together with two world premieres by the young Iranian composer Aida Shirazi and the Turkish composer Emre Dündar, as well as Vivaldi’s “La Folia,” the transtraditional concert series Outernational traces the abyss of history – before the evening ends in hope. In the “Outernational Listening Session” at the beginning of the evening, philosopher and biologist Andreas Weber presents his new essay for the first time in a sound space by Kirsten Reese.
