Sabiwa(TW), Solar Rocks(TW), personalbrand(UK), trngs(DE), B E N N(TW) — SABIWA is an experimental electronic producer and performer from 無 .
Her first approach to music was inside an aquarium; she started playing Cello at the age of 12, developing later a deep interest in electronic music, sound designed and field recording. She produces, records and dissects sounds from natural and synthetic sources, making them interact with complex texture and abstract patterns, also using her voice processed as guiding path in her compositions.
She is also curating the live visual for her performances.She composed soundtracks for art performances and documentaries, collaborating with numerous artists and musicians. Solar Rocks is a London based audio visual duo Sunny Liao & Yewen. Founded in late 2021, the pair debuted at Corsica Studio in May this year.
As a visual artist and graphic designer, Sunny’s work focuses on the essential characteristics of graphics by means of mathematical precision and aesthetics and takes a special interest in spatial concepts and perceptual illusions.
Yewen produces sound that can be best described as hypnotic witchery, often accompanied with organically disorganised rhythms and layers of intricate sound textures. Together they co-host a monthly show at London’s Netil Radio, where they tell stories of East/South East Asia through electronic music. personalbrand is a Taipei-based producer and DJ, originally from London. Inspired by the use of grime in street protests and by the sociopolitical potential of dance music, his productions reconstruct grime, club, and hardcore sounds into twisted new forms that reflect both anthropocenal anxiety and optimism for a post-alienation future.
