This time we welcome:
fka.m4a, the London-born artist moved to Berlin over two years ago and remains a constant source of warmth on the airwaves of the city’s HÖR Radio, where they bounce between Italo disco, chunky house, hi-NRG beats and pepperings of psychedelic techno with exuberant energy. fka.m4a’s seamless, feel-good mixes have anchored their presence in Berlin’s dance music and queer scene.
Diamin is a Dj, vinyl collector and environmental scientist born in Chile and based in Berlin. Their particular cartography of electronic music explores the roots of techno, focusing on how these sounds intersect with bleep, breakbeat, electro and acid.
They are a resident on MARICAS (Barcelona), Mutant Radio (Tbilisi), Lacura (La Plata). After their sets at Berghain, Bassiani, Tresor and De School, NL, we´re happy to welcome them behind the decks at OXI.
Aérea Negrot b2b Jacob Meehan:
Aérea Negrot is a multi-purpose, long-lasting singer-producer-DJ-composer-performer in a bottle. From Berghain to the Sydney Opera House, Aérea’s performances have won new fans in a variety of settings.
Jacob Meehan broadcast signals from behind the counter at Gramaphone Records, behind the decks at Smart Bar, and behind the scenes as a co-founder of the Men’s Room parties. Berlin-based since 2016, he’s the program director and a resident DJ of Buttons & an organizing member of WHOLE – United Queer Festival.
Our Residents Michael Lane and Malte Süß, will be heating up the dancefloor with their infamous b2b.
Their sound is rooted in progressive house and new wave power. As OXI’s new resident DJs, every set is genre-flexible, adapting to the unique crowd. Their aim is to fill the dance floor with a positive energy, so expect flashes of disco groove and 80s sparkle.
We´re also looking forward to an amazing performance by VNCNT 2.0
