This year’s focus is on the question of authenticity in (feminist) porn. Morgana Muses (AUS) takes off at 48 as a porn star in the alternative scene, leaving her old life behind. Pioneer Nenna Joiner (USA) addresses racism as an industry and makes films featuring only Black women. Lina Bembe (MEX/D) has to turn to traditional portals because her sex education video is blocked. Del LaGrace Volcano (GB) becomes a gender terrorist and Marit Östberg (S) brings Swedish feminism together with Berlin local color. The weekend is underpinned academically by Clarissa Smith, editor of the scholarly journal Porn Studies. Her research focuses on authenticity in porn film.
