QUEER SKIN is an interdisciplinary exhibition exploring queer identities, bodies, and beauty, revealing what lies beneath the surface. Blending art, fashion, performance, and music, it invites visitors to engage with themes of transformation, labeling, intimacy, and defiance of beauty norms.
Through queer experiences, the event celebrates boldness, tenderness, and everything in between, highlighting skin as an archive of lived truths and a canvas for new futures. QUEER SKIN invites you to embrace vulnerability and celebrate the complexities of existence.
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:
Exhibition: An array of interdisciplinary works, from painting to photography.
Runway Show: Experience a one-of-a-kind runway spectacle: A vibrant blend of fashion, movement and art, defying existing norms.
Panel Talk: A thought-provoking discourse on queer visibility and the power of art.

QUEER SKIN is a safer space where all forms of discrimination, including racism, sexism, homophobia, and transphobia are banned and will not be tolerated. Kottilesben welcomes people from all races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, gender identities, and abilities. The highlights of the event will be accompanied by a GLS language interpreter.
KOTTILESBEN is a queer art collective based in Berlin, dedicated to providing visibility for queer artists and making their art accessible to a broad audience. Their mission is to use art as a catalyst for social change and to promote queer visibility.
