Queer Week celebrates queer life with voices which never surrender. The rise of the extreme right around the world represents an attack on human rights, especially the rights of LGBTQIA+ people. New hurdles make legal gender re-cognition more difficult, protections against discrimination are taken away, queer content is banned from schools and access to healthcare is limited. At the centre of Queer Week 2025 are trans people and their stories – from dating and dangerous jobs to the search for safety. A program consisting of performances, concert, film and discussions sheds light on these experiences from a multitude of perspectives.
